Chicago, the Windy City. Chicago, a dream of dreams come true.

With my recent travels to Illinois, embracing a familiar yet different atmosphere was refreshing.  I took a 37 hour drive out from San Diego. One car, three people, straight through. Arriving on a new coast was an incredible feeling. The cold, crisp air kept me on my toes and each new sight kept my Canon busy. My friends Breezy and Keegan repped some of our gear around the city, making it the first time 777 Collective was to ever make an appearance in this glorious city. Food was definitely a must. Although it was exhausting, exploring Chicago was totally worth it. Worth the drive, worth the fatigue, worth the extensive journey.

My fellow storytellers,  keep travelling. Seek out chances for adventure, thrill, and good company. To the young opportunist: take risks and revive what has become mundane. And to the old and wise globetrotter: continue on the straight and narrow and fulfill your life's desires. We are all lovers for beauty. So take a chance for what it is worth.

You will see here the Cloud Gate, a large metallic, bean-shaped wonder and also a business building that had our numbers written all over it, 777 Michigan Avenue. All in all, I recommend a visit to Chicago if you haven't been yet. I most certainly will. I got to get more Giordano's deep dish Chicago-style pizza anyways.

What is your recent favorite vacation or roadtrip and explain why?
